GN/BN/DAKR Reminder
Signs like these could be found all along the Dakota Rail line in the Lake Minnetonka area. Holdovers from the GN/BN days. Like a monument on a battlefield, this one remains on the north side of the trail between the Lafayette Club and the crossing with Woodridge Road in Minnetonka Beach. Anyone know what the purpose of these signs was for?

Tim Huemmer General I think that's a sign that tells the snow plows to raise. There's probably a crossing or something nearby that would be damaged if they did not do so 5/17/2009 10:10:38 PM
