| Located along the former M&STL mainline in St. Louis Park are these bridges which carried the dual main tracks over Minnehaha Creek. Now today they carry trail traffic. Railing in foreground is from the bridge on the still-alive former Milwaukee Road line. However, the Southwest Light Rail Transit line is planned to be built along the old M&St.L main. So one day rails will hopefully again adorn these bridges. Which ought to bear the weight of an LRT car with ease. |
