CP ES44AC 8840 and AC4400 9560 wheel an eastbound grain or potash (could not tell which) train through the Hamel area of Medina, MN (Hamel once was it's own town but later merged with Medina though retained it's local name). Also was taken by surprise by this one, since no whistling is allowed in Hamel, the first warning I got from this and the other train I caught here this day was when the grade crossing gates began to ding! |
