In all my years as a railfan, I'd not ever seen any trains on any of the lines in Owatonna. That dry spell broke at last about ten minutes before 5 p.m. on Memorial Day 2025, when I bagged this westbound CPKC power at State Avenue. Note the other two railfans in the left background, partially obscured by weeds. Note also the KCS component (air conditioner?) installed on CP 8902 |
