I got this shot of the Midway yard power from the Amtrak/Friends Of The 261 fall color trip to Winona as we eased through Union Yard. However, these units appear to have shoved a cut of COFC cars right down into the Union Pacific's East Minneapolis yard, as the NS units in the left background indicate. |

There are some spur tracks located off the BNSF Midway Sub serving some industries located on the northeast side of Kasota Avenue. I came upon this baby quite by chance. This local had a former BN center cupola caboose on the hind end. Alas, it was too out of position for me to photograph. |
