Here is a stopped eastbound general freight holding the main track in Long Lake. There was no opposing traffic, judging by the blank eastbound main signal, so congestion in Minneapolis must have been the issue.

Wow, What A Catch!
Description:
These two classic units were on the point of an eastbound general freight the BNSF dispatcher stopped in Long Lake for almost two hours before being cleared to proceed. The number "1997" is significant to me: it is the first year I began seriously railfanning.
