Back in the 1960's and 1970's the F-unit was a golden oldie. Today it is diesels like the SD40-2 that holds this title. Here is another look at a trio of them on a train held by a red signal on the main track of the BNSF Wayzata sub in Long Lake, MN.

Red Signal, Gone To Beans
Description:
Stopped for a red signal in Long Lake this day are three classic SD40-2's with a general freight consisting of mostly tank cars with$two ex-BN ribside hoppers between the power and the tanks. The first thing the crew did was disembark and to go beans at a nearby grill.
