| Looking west at the site of the Minneapolis, Northfield, and Southern/Milwaukee Road Hastings & Dakota Division crossing. Despite drastic changes since the Milwaukee's Rails went up in the 1970s, the trail at the center of the photo runs along a surviving fragment of grade for a few blocks west of the crossing site. Trail users should still be train aware at the old M.N.& S. due to switching and car storage moves made by Progressive Rail. |
