The Oldest RPO In Preservation  Contributor's Pick!
This is Omaha Road RPO 301. Built in the 1840s, this car is the oldest Railroad Post Office in existence. Suitable trucks have yet to be found or fabricated, so newer ones are currently under the car, but otherwise this baby looks as she did during her heyday. (The semi-trailer in the background is former Milwaukee Road.)
