Waiting For Its Next Use  Contributor's Pick!
This is the former Minneapolis & St. Louis trestle over East Chaska Creek in downtown Chaska. This bridge has been used by the M&St.L. and successors Chicago and North Western and Union Pacific. Thanks to Uncle Pete not keeping the faith with traffic to United Sugars after a bridge close to the Minnesota River collapsed in 2007, this bridge now awaits its next use while the right-of-way north and south of it has become so well manicured even the track ballast is gone.
