| I found a tie fragment a few feet south of the former CGW grade crossing on 302nd Street. This has sat here since the early 1980s! They sure made railroad ties to last, even when fragmented. These bits of railroad tie in turn make a definitive "fingerprint" that this indeed was the old CGW. |
