Crane Caboose and MOW Flat
Title:  Crane Caboose and MOW Flat
Description:  When I first moved to Long Lake, Brown Road morphed into Lake Street at a grade crossing on the BNSF Wayzata sub. There was a spur tra{k at this location used to park MOW trains. Today I found this job parked here with a plum prize in the middle: A BN caboose. Sans herald, to be sure, but still otherwise just like the ones I saw in revenue service on this line when I was a boy.back during the BN caboose's mid-1980's last stand.

A Classy Center-Cupola Caboose
Title:  A Classy Center-Cupola Caboose
Description:  Only a BN herald could make this immaculate ex-BN caboose look more good.

Caboose!
Title:  Caboose!
Description:  Former BN caboose 12607 (now sans it's BN logo on the sides) leads a short MOW job consisting of two small hoppers and a self-propelled crane across 35W.

BN 12607 Roster Shot
Title:  BN 12607 Roster Shot
Description:  This MOW caboose and I have crossed paths before. Nice to see it again, this time called up as a result of the 6 30 10 coal train derailment in Wayzata.

Once More Unto The Crisis
Title:  Once More Unto The Crisis
Description:  Hulcher may have done the bulk of the work clearing up the June 30th 2010 train derailment in Wayzata, but the BNSF broke out some muscle of its own to complete the job. Here this crane-flat-caboose job reposes under breezy warm sunny skies patiently waiting for its crew to show up and resume work.

Derailment? What Derailment?
Title:  Derailment? What Derailment?
Description:  A westbound freight passes a parked MOW job in a chance in a million moment for me. I didn't plan to get the BN hack into the shot, it happened by pure chance! They sure did a rush (but good) job getting the siding back into action after the calamity of the coal train derailment on June 30th, 2010.

Satellite Dish Equipped?
Title:  Satellite Dish Equipped?
Description:  I spotted two other ex-BN cabooses at Northtown this day, though these were spiffed up with...satellite dishes?
