I netted a prize with this parked train: Red River Valley & Western's former Minnesota Prairie Line/Twin Cities & Western GP10! The 4301 was an old friend nice to see again too. I wonder why a whole train was parked just west of town with no crew and the engines shut down? |

I came upon a parked train just west of Winthrop on an usually gray August Sunday afternoon. The engines were shut down and no crew were in sight. Going home later in the day, I saw the train was still there. What's the story? |
