The paint on the second of these units here indicates a new arrival, the 45, which is an operable unit. Not sure what the 200's status is, but the 35, alas, is stored facing an uncertain future last I heard. |

Entering Winthrop aboard the 261 Fall Colors trip, I spotte[ an old friend from my teenage years: former Dakota Rail SW1200 1206, now a lease unit but still wearing those nifty DAKR colors! When the train left town, I snapped this portrait. Note how my old friend has been equipped with a snow shovel, still a practical accessory in these latitudes. |

Former BNSF switcher 3518 has now traded a yard goat's duties for that of a mill switcher's at Meadowlands Co-Op in Walnut Grove. Despite her BNSF lettering being removed, she still casts an aura of the glory days when she and her stablemates could be found throughout the BNSF system. |
