Smoke It Up!
Description:
Boy were the crew of the 9679 blowing the carbon out but good! Away their MAC duo goes. Having passed beneath Brown Road and now charging for the Williow Drive underpass at the Long Lake/Orono border. Meanwhile, traffic on the Highway 12 bypass flows on oblivious to the good show on the tracks.

Smokey MAC's
Description:
Making enough smoke to make a steam engine proud, the pair of MAC's at the head end of this empty westbound coal job on the Wayzata sub is about to duck under Brown Road. Even without it's BN herald the Grinstien Green paint on the 9679 still looks good even today. Over ten years after the BN/ATSF merger.
