This is eithier a Superior-bound train or a transfer job. Either way, it was about to depart East Minneapolis yard. Thanks to the "digital zoom" feature on my camera, I was able to get this shot from the Van Cleve Park pedestrian bridge! If the cables weren't there, it would be an even better shot. I was unable to determine the model of the other two units. |

Just Like Old Times! |
| Description: |
While busily documenting and making notes about a future article about a hotel I was stuck in this town back in 2002, it suddenly became just like old times as I got my camera out for a passing UP train just like way back then. In this case it was a super-short westbound freight bound for Valley Park yard seen here charging through the grade crossing at the entrance to Port Cargill. |
