Crossing The Luce
Description:
Switching work done, the hogger nurses his charge up out of the spur track off the Golden Valley Industrial Lead that crosses both 13th Avenue and the Luce Line just west of Xenium Lane (visible at grade crossing in the upper left); here the engine is crossing the Luce Line as the six coil cars going east this day tag along behind it. The UP sure likes to lease units that once were on their roster!

Halfway Through The Move
Description:
The hogger aboard ex-UP lease unit 2319 stops his charge up at 13th Avenue on the spur into the lone customer west of Xenium Lane on the Golden Valley Industrial Lead. They were about to cut the string of twelve coil cars strung out behind the engine in half, leaving six for the customer and six for the trip home.
