Around the curve which starts beneath the Brown Road bridge in the distance a set of red signals awaits the crew of this eastbound manifest. They were stopped, however, for only a short duration before getting clearance to move again. It seems the trailing dash-nine is badly in need of a new coat of paint. Wonder when she will recieve one? Note the ex- CNW ribside hopper behind her. |

The hogger on this eastbound freight glides his train downgrade from Orono into Long Lake on an early November Saturday that feels more like spring than fall. I especially like this view from the Willow Drive bridge for how it captures the grade and nearby curve in the background on this stretch of track. |
