Description:  Why was I so far back for this shot? Well, for one thing, a good friend of mine who was present told me 4014 was a huge engine, so I needed to be back enough to get all of her in the frame. For another, I am not one for crowds, so I was more than happy to keep well back to grab my shots of 4014 on the old Spine Line.

Description:  An eastbound (?) Union Pacific freight passed Union Depot and headed up Division Street after the steam special returned to Union Depot. I snapped this almost-flawless shot of the mid-train helper unit passing the Big Boy. I wonder if anyone in that pickup truck at upper left stuck in traffic on highway 52 cast admiring glances at the 4014?
